I had fun with flickr and just a little frustration and I loved the flickr toys and other added features. I can see that this could be addicting and I could spend countless hours on this, but I can see how these tools would be useful.
Another note - I would like to be able to redo my blog in some ways like put my avatar in my profile. How do I go about doing that? I feel like I want to just drag things around, but that doesn't seem possible.

One of the things about the web now is that tools are proliferating at such a rate that it is hard to keep up. Part of the issue for us as educators is finding the right tool for the task and having the time to really figure out how to use it.
To add to your blog profile or change your blog you need to go to the dashboard From there you can edit your profile and you can work on your layout, add new side boxes etc.
